Painting in the Park!

Mud Pie will be offering some painting sessions at Reigate Priory Park this summer.  We will have a range of the smaller items (bears, fairies, puppies etc) to paint in acrylics so you can take them home on the day!

Our first day in the park is Monday, 2nd August but many more will be added.

Visit a lovely park and get creative too - we will be sited near the pavilion.

There will be no studio fees!!

The summer has finally arrived and here at Mud Pie we realise that you want to be outdoors enjoying the wonderful weather, well why not host a Pottery Painting Party in your Garden?
It’s so easy, everything is provided so you simply collect the equipment from our studio, take it away and paint your selected items. Bring everything back to us, we will fire your masterpieces and return them to you*.

Pottery painting is ideal for parties or groups - brilliant for adults and children. The completed items are dishwasher safe, full instructions are provided plus wonderful colours, brushes, palettes etc.

If (though it is forbidden!) it rains, pottery painting can easily be done indoors - the paints are non staining and wipe away easily.

Cost

A deposit of £40 is payable - this is refundable except in the case of excessive paint use

for up to 10 people the fee is £20 plus the chosen item cost
for up to 15 people the fee is £25 plus the chosen item cost
for up to an additional 5 people its an additional £5!

The items can be preselected from our studio (we are introducing online pictures soon). Here’s a selection of prices to help you budget -

Clay workshops

Throughout the year, usually held in school holidays, we offer clay workshops for adults and children.  With varied themes, such as pen pots, plaques, figurines, hanging mobiles, etc we show you the techniques to produce something wonderful, with your own personalisation and ideas.
We list the workshops on our website, and also email our customers with dates and activities - make sure you give us your email to enable us to keep you informed!

Wheel workshops

This is a one and a half hour session, usually in the evening to suit you. This workshop teaches the technique to throw your own pot, and is for one or two people at a time to ensure individual tuition and guidance.  Suitable for adults and children over 8, the session cost includes a return visit to paint your pots.  For one person £30 per session, for two people £55.
